During class this week, we said goodbye to some dear friends of ours. These friends were words that were overused and weak. Even though we were sad to let these words go, we know that there are better words that can take their place. We used the thesaurus to find these words and then wrote eulogies for the "dearly departed". Some of us even wore all black to our word funeral, brought in sad music to play in the background, or used our creativity to make coffins and bring in pictures of the "better times" we shared with these words. They will always be remembered in our hearts.

Check out our eulogies that we wrote!
