On the first day of school, there were many mysteries to solve about third grade. For instance, there was "The Mystery of Homeworkopoly", "The Mystery of the Reading Corner", and "The Mystery of Cinema Club". The detectives in Room 28 have been hard at work piecing together the evidence and have finished their case reports. They are ready to share the information with those who are ready for the truth.

As a class, we discussed how students were feeling on the first day of school. Many of the students were nervous, excited, or anxious. Everyone was wondering what third grade was going to be like. There were so many new things in Room 28 that the students were unsure of. Since the students are now almost fourth graders, they know all about the "Mysteries of 3rd Grade". The students each chose a "mystery" to write about and then revealed its "secrets" in their own case file. These "secrets" will be shared with Mrs. Van Dyke's next class. Nice work, detectives!
